Louis Van Gaal says he is never Satisfied with Team Performance

Louis Van Gaal says that he is never 100% happy with the way his team plays, but that is not stopping him from labelling Manchester United as the best team in the league right now.

The club may be 12 points behind table leaders Chelsea, but that does not stop Van Gaal from considering United as to being one of the top teams right now. This is purely because of the club’s recent form, which has seen them suffer just one defeat after more than two months of football. United would be taking on Swansea this weekend and it marks the perfect opportunity for Van Gaal to take revenge for the defeat suffered in his first match.

It was Swansea who beat United on the opening day of the season and it took the club a long time to recover from this defeat. Questions were asked about Van Gaal’s ability to turn the team around especially after having suffered a very poor season under David Moyes. The Dutchman believes that he has been answering critics to a certain extent over the last few weeks, but United still remain a long way away from challenging for the title. The club’s away form still continues to be poor when compared with the other top teams.

“When you see the score of the last 19 or 20 matches, we are the best team in the league. I am never 100 per cent happy. We can play better than we are now, but the main thing is to win games. The spirit in the squad is fantastic. The players want to do everything for the team – that is important. We’ve shown our team spirit many times this season. It’s good for the fans and for me, as you see a player wants to follow you,” said Van Gaal.
