UNITED CHASE REUS

David Moyes is setting his eyes on Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus as he is a priority target for Manchester United in the January transfer window. The Premier League side has been going through problems in the midfield specifically in this season as their signing from Everton Marouane Fellaini is still struggling to adapt with Moyes in Manchester United.

Meanwhile their other midfielder Michael Carrick is finding his way out of the series of injuries that he has been enduring this season. Since David Moyes took charge of United as he is trying to follow the legacy of Sir. Alex Ferguson, Luis Nani has only made 6 starts for the English club as the Portuguese winger has not found a break into the starting lineup of the Scottish coach.
Due to his lack of appearances for Manchester United and the failure to make any kind of impact with the team he is being a target of clubs such as Juventus and Ac.Milan.

If Luis Nani does indeed make his way to either of the Italian clubs, the introduction of Marco Reus is a more viable option as United will have the funds available to sign the 24 years old German player of Borussia Dortmund. The move would boost United’s chances in their upcoming matches – on the football coupons they have slowly become less and less likely to challenge for the title.

The German superstar Reus has scored 11 goals and provided 7 assists for his club and country in this season. While during his last season he found the back of the net 27 times and created 14 assists for his teammates, it is no doubt that if United manage to snatch him up in January he will be provide a new attacking dimension for the team but it won’t have so much difference if they lack to cover up their other weaknesses in the defensive area of the squad.

It will not be very surprising if United sign Reus and another player in the January transfer window if they want to protect the Premier League title some new signings can be the boost they need in order to accomplish their mission.
