  1. All this sort of stuff from the 70s was amazing. Sinstadt when he was at Granada was the best commentator on TV along with David Coleman on BBC

  2. also ok the football is not as technical as it is now but you got the sense that playing meant more than the money, player more loyal to a club in those days…i think then the football was better

  3. Love to see someone in the next derby do a Lee and celebrate with the Ref. Go on Chicha, give Howard Webb a hug…

  4. dam right brother…
This match is priceless for the look that franny gave best after he scored the pen, i reckon best had a little dribble down his leg in fear….

  5. Heh. Actually I made this video in the days when youtube had a strict filesize limit so anything extraneous had to go. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it.

  6. “and it’s gone in off somebody…” quality commentary from Gerald Sinstadt. Is Gerald still alive I wonder ?

  7. Seems like you ‘forgot’ to add in the replays of Uniteds goals and any other attacking play from the reds.

  8. Absalutely brilliant. Loved Franny Lee’s interpretation of a dive !!!! Epic. Love football love City.

  9. FOR ALL YOU CITY FANS,,,MANCHESTER HAS MORE TO SHOW THE WORLD ABOUT OUR CITY THAN THIS, i AM A DAUGHTER FROM THE CITY PLAYERS BACK IN THE 1940`S. COME CELEBRATE OUR BLUES ! X

  10. What a match that was with 6 of the best players in the game, Charlton, Kidd, Best, vs Lee, Bell and most underrated player ever Summerbee. Some good ol days.
